Contract Signed Between Bingo and Lović & Co

The largest retail chain in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bingo, and Lović & Co, a leading manufacturer of roofing sheets and metal cabinets, have signed their largest cooperation agreement to date!

Over the past few years, our metal cabinets have been featured in all Bingo locations across BiH. Now, we have expanded this cooperation to an even more ambitious level!

The new agreement covers the first phase of work – roofing 10,000 m² of the new Bingo facility in Gračanica. The remaining work will be completed in the second and third phases, with negotiations and contracts for those phases expected in the coming months. Our company will fully equip this facility with roofing and facade systems.

Lović & CO Participated in the Sarajevo Industry Fair

Our company once again participated in the International Construction, Mechanical, and Metal Industry Fair – Sarajevo Industry Fair, held at the Hills Hotel.

We introduced the visitors to our products and services, with a special focus on roofing and facade sheets, drainage systems, metal cabinets, workbenches, and we also presented our new product, KlikKlak sheet for roofs and facades.

The fair’s program covered research and design, construction and maintenance of buildings, high-rise and low-rise construction, hydro construction, materials, equipment, construction machinery, tools, adaptation, reconstruction and restoration, craftsmanship, information technology, project management in construction, and interior furnishing.

Additionally, all types of industrial machines were on display at the fair, from machines for the metal industry to those for other industries.

Lović & Co: Successful Start of Production Process Digitalization

In recent days, under the guidance of experts from Sipoc d.o.o. Sarajevo, we successfully completed the preparatory phase of training on the topic: “Lean Mindset,” process optimization, and the demands of digital transformation.

– The entire training was organized in several phases. The preparatory phase, which included the theoretical segment, focused on identifying potentials for production optimization, analyzing team and personal characteristics of middle management, defining the steps for starting the measurement of work processes and results within production, as well as recognizing process losses with the aim of optimizing them. It is important to emphasize that the preparatory phase is just an introduction to a broader transformation and digitalization of production processes, stated Edis Lović.

Starting this week, Lović & Co will begin the next phase, which includes an in-depth analysis of work processes, reorganization, documenting work steps, and standardizing workplaces. Over the coming months, not only will we significantly speed up production processes, but we will also achieve better control within production.

Ultimately, we expect more precise tracking of all processes, product calculations, and similar elements.

In a further and future vision, we plan to fully digitalize production by applying the most advanced tracking methods, including the use of digital technology on the machines themselves and detailed reporting on every step of the process. This initiative will further improve efficiency, transparency, and control, placing us a step ahead in the industry.

Completed works on Belamionix Shopping Centre

Belamionix, the most recent shopping centre in Tuzla, is proudly enriched with the quality roof and the façade thermal panels thanks to the successfully implemented project by our company. This project will significantly contribute not only to the aesthetics of the centre itself, but also to its energy efficiency.

It is an imposing building that covers 17,000 square meters, and our innovative thermal panel solutions will provide it with additional value. We ensured optimal thermal insulation with the roof panels, which not only reduces heating and cooling costs, but also contributes to energy conservation.

The façade thermal panels, also integrated in this project, provide a high level of insulation, protecting the interior space from unfavourable weather influences. This aspect plays a key role in creating a pleasant environment for visitors, enhancing the overall experience of visiting the Belamionix shopping centre.

Furthermore, in addition to improving the quality of the facility itself, our innovative solutions also contribute to the competitiveness of Tuzla in the commercial sense. The modern and energy-efficient shopping centre will attract a variety of visitors, boosting the local economy and creating a prosperous community.

This project represents another successful step in achieving our goal of providing high-quality solutions that benefit both the community and our clients.

The Lović & Co company built the first bicycle garage in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The most important goal that we set in the last year at the company Lović & Co was to maintain successful business operations, keep all the employees, pay off all our regular obligations, and to successfully overcome all the difficulties that the pandemic had brought. We succeeded in this, and in 2020, we managed to complete a new facility where we moved the complete manufacturing of the metal cabinets, and we bought new, more up-to-date machines, which improved the quality of our products.

“This year has started more than well for us. Since the beginning of 2021, we have hired 15 new employees, so now we have 65 of them. We have opened new projects throughout Bosnia and Herzegovina and the European Union, there have been more and more new customers every day, and I hope that this year will continue to be as good as it has been so far,” Edis Lović pointed out.

The company Lović & Co has worked on a number of important projects so far, and for all the years of operation, they have managed to achieve good and correct cooperation with a large number of domestic companies. In addition to the projects they have worked on the domestic market and with domestic companies, Lović has also highlighted the projects with the business partners from the Netherlands and Germany as significant. Over the past five years, their products have found the place on the markets of Croatia, Montenegro, the Netherlands, Germany and Austria, and they are more than satisfied with that. They expect this year to be their most successful so far.

“Besides the 15 employees we have hired so far this year, I think that number will increase as time goes on. We have also purchased and ordered a new machine, which is our biggest investment in individual equipment so far. It is a TwinMatic machine from the Swiss manufacturer Jorns. The value of the machine is over 350,000 euros and it is one of the most modern sheet metal machines in our region. We expect the delivery and commissioning of that machine in the next two months,” Lović said.

As some of the main projects for this year, Lović has highlighted the SIKA technologies and systems for flat roofs, which is something new from their offer. Given that, as he added, they have experience “on the roof” since the nineties, in addition to sheet metal roofs, they now procure and install the SIKA foils and systems for flat roofs (green roofs, slab roofs, etc.).

“In the sector of metal cabinets and metal accessories, there are also news, and a lot of new products. The last very important one is the first bicycle garage in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The garages are intended for the EU market, but of course, as the first made in Bosnia and Herzegovina, they can already be found in all bicycle shops in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Soon, many more interesting products can be expected from our assortment, but I would not talk much about them now, because many of them are still in the preparatory phase. With all new investments and products, it is important to mention the implementation of the ISO 9001 standard. We have decided to implement the ISO standards for several reasons, the main one being the improvement of product quality and the business system itself. We have already started with the implementation of the ISO standard, and in the coming months we are expecting the certificate issued by the German certification company TÜV SÜD”, says Lović.

The Lović & Co company has existed under this name since 1997, although their beginnings were well before the war itself and the disintegration of the former Yugoslavia. Today, their operations are separated into two sectors. The first and the one by which they are most recognisable are sheet metal roofs and complete sheet metal accessories. The manufacturing, sale and installation of all types of sheet roofs is our core business.

The other sector is the manufacturing and sale of all kinds of metal cabinets and metal accessories. Their standard products are hydrant cabinets, electrical enclosures, manifold cabinets, metal shelves, tool trolleys and panels, various smaller mailboxes, etc. Various metal cabinets and metal components have been made as per order, mainly for EU countries.
